In the past, the beer industry in Indonesia has always been pilsener or lager.
Two well-traveled and huge beer enthusiasts, Bona and Jacob recognised that there was a need for better quality and good tasting beers. Passionately about this idea, they made it their mission to produce Indonesian craft beer that can compete on a world stage.
Craft brewing in the Northern mountains on The Island of the Gods, Bali. We are proud to say that we are producing THE ONLY BEER MADE IN BALI, which is also THE ONLY CRAFT BEER IN INDONESIA.
WHY BALI
Bali has been known for decades around the world for its craftsmanship, culture and diversity. These values are also reflected in our innovative craft beers. We wanted to have the artistic touch and exotic flavours of Indonesia for people around the world to taste, making Bali the perfect place
WHY THE NAME STARK?
The aim was to bring strong world class craft beer to the Indonesian market. That’s how the idea of the German word “Stark”, which means “strong” was born.
The name today expresses the strong vision of the company of becoming the preferred beer in Indonesia with international recognition. #MADEINBALI
