After graduating in May 1996 from Franklin University, Colombus, OHIO, USA with a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Bona started working as an Engineering Supervisor for PT Aisin International, which is a subsidiary of PT Astra International, a manufacturer of car parts for Toyota.
Here he was involved with their so called “quantum leap” program and worked here for 2 years.

In 1997-2003, together with his mother, who is an accredited fashion designer, he opened a ethnic furniture shop in Kemang called PERNIQUE and in 1999 added WARNA by Pernique gallery & restaurant together with his brother Reeza, who is now the owner of Bluegrass and Liberica Coffee (among others).

In 2001 Mr. Bona opened the first wine bar in Jakarta called Manna by Dionysus
In 2002 he opened a super Club called Embassy which became a huge hit where all the international topDJ’s would perform.

In 2003, he introduced a revolutionary concept – live band and restaurant called SCORE!. It’s unique character was that it was a one stop entertainment place where people could eat, enjoy live music, watch sports matches and enjoy a game of pool.

In Jan 2003 entertainment group OPCO Indonesia was formed to run all his F&B Bussiness which raised the standard of F&B in Jakarta and was followed by many operators such as Union Group, where Mr. Bona is also a shareholder of Cork & Srew.
